Our goal is for you to leave our office with a memorable and enjoyable dental experience, which is why our welcoming and compassionate staff will do everything they can to make you feel right at home.
Dr. Hal Whitney
I have been practicing dentistry in Colorado for 33 years after graduating from the University of Colorado Dental School. I enjoys all aspects of dentistry and welcomes the opportunity to serve new patients throughout Morgan and surrounding counties. My wife and I have three amazing children and two grandchildren who we adore. When I’m not working I enjoy golfing, hunting and serving my church.
Julian, Vice President
A member of Brush Dental since 2019, Julian graduated from Caliche High School in 1982 and earned his certification as a welder and first responder at North Eastern Junior College. He has brought his years of experience in the manufacturing field to our team and applies it to what he does now. He strives to create a positive atmosphere with our employees and patients. Quality is everything and he believes that we have that in our team and our patients.
Julian’s family is everything to him. His wife Terri, two girls, three boys, 4 granddaughters and one grandson keep him moving. He loves going to as many sports events as he can and watching his children and grandchildren brings more joy to his heart than anyone can imagine.
For Julian, the best part of working at our office is working with his wife. With a background in manufacturing, moving to dentistry was a big change for him, but as he learned more and more about the dental business he has grown to appreciate what Terri does for our community.
When he is not at work, you can find Julian in his shop building things. Julian notes that with a family like his, there is always something to work on or build. His hobby allows him to express himself, which is something he enjoys tremendously!
Nicole, Office Manager
Nicole was born and raised in Fort Morgan, Colorado, and graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1992 and Morgan Community College in 2001. She has been with our team since October 2015, though she did have a two-year hiatus between June 2015 and July 2017! She helps everyone stay positive and focused, but she also loves to have fun and laugh with the rest of our team. She helps organize our monthly team meetings, which help us stay up-to-date on new and updated procedures and knowledgeable with OSHA guidelines and other vital aspects of your privacy.
Nicole has been married for 14 years and currently lives in Snyder, Colorado, with her husband and their blended family of three boys and two girls. She loves family time, and the whole family enjoys four-wheeling on their 40 acres or in the mountains. She also loves to crochet, read and listen to true crime podcasts!
We are so grateful to have Nicole, but her joining our team could very well have not happened at all! In her own words, “I came on staff on a whim. I knew nothing about the dental world. I think Terri saw something in me that I didn’t. If it wasn’t for her eagerness to steal me away from my last job, I would probably still be waiting tables at the local diner! Thank you, Terri, for this amazing opportunity!”
Terri, Dental Hygienist
Terri was born and raised in Michigan, and graduated from Oakland Community College in Michigan in 1990. In 2003 she moved to Brush to open Brush Dental. Terri graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2012 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, specializing in education. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family (five children plus her grandchildren), traveling with her husband and reading.
Ashley, Lead Dental Assistant
My name is Ashley, and I am the lead dental assistant at Brush Dental. I received my dental assisting certification in the spring of 2017 before starting here that summer. Soon after getting into dental assisting, I realized the patients are the best thing about the field, as every one is different. Getting to know them over the years has been incredibly rewarding. With my knowledge from the time I have spent working here, I am able to help our patients with whatever they need; whether they need an estimate on a treatment plan or have questions or concerns about a procedure, I am happy to help.
Outside of work, my boyfriend and I enjoy going camping, going to the park with our dogs or just going out of town to get away. I also enjoy traveling throughout the year to visit my family in Arizona.
Juliana, Office Assistant
Juliana joined our team in 2021 and is a 2018 graduate of Fort Morgan High School. She schedules appointments and speaks English and Spanish, and can answer any questions our patients may have. She enjoys learning new things about dentistry and interacting with all kinds of different patients.
